Three years ago I met Dr Shaji Philip in connection with the admission of my parents at Advantage Elder Care, Yelahanka. My father had suffered from a paralytic stroke and both parents were over 85 years of age. They needed to be placed in a facility that assured them of constant medical watch and personalized physical assistance to attend to their daily chores. Gladly for me, my search ended with Advantage Elder Care, with Dr. Shaji Philip as its head. I was deeply impressed by Dr. Shaji Philip’s vision, commitment and compassionate disposition.

Imagine a young man giving up a lucrative career in Rehab Care in the Middle East, returning to Bangalore to establish a home for Elder Care.

Over the past 3 years I have had the opportunity to observe the workings at Advantage Elder Care from close quarters. I admire the excellent leadership of Dr. Shaji Philip in grooming a fine team of caregivers together with qualified medical staff, who have made an elder care home into heaven of tranquility, security, happiness and belongingness for nearly 100 residents, all at the eventide of their lives.
